Has Justin Bieber has been dumped by Selena Gomez, his girlfriend of eight months?
The supposed breakup, reported on Friday evening, comes amid a paternity suit against the 17-year-old Canadian pop star.
RadarOnline.com is reporting that a source close to Bieber and Gomez said: "Selena ended it abruptly. She broke the news to Justin just in the past 24 hours."
Later, it ran a post in which a source close to Bieber was denying a breakup, saying Gomez had left the country to work.
The paternity suit against Bieber was filed in San Diego Superior Court by Mariah Yeater earlier this week. She had just turned 19 when she says she and Bieber, then 16, had a brief sexual encounter after one of the singer's concerts last fall at Los Angeles' Staples Center. She said she gave birth to a boy in July.
Earlier in the day, Bieber told the host of NBC's Today show that none of the paternity allegations were true.
