Charlie Todd moved to New York to become an actor and soon realized he could take his performances to the streets, with improvised pranks ranging from riding the subway without pants to famously having more than 100 people freeze in place in Grand Central Station. His group, called Improv Everywhere, and its “happenings” have since amassed more than a quarter billion hits on YouTube.
