Gunless starts production in Osoyoos, B.C. Add to ...

Principal photography has begun in Osoyoos, B.C., on Gunless, a comedy-western starring Paul Gross, directed by William Phillips ( Foolproof). Gross returns to acting after gaining enormous attention for writing, directing and starring in Passchendaele, to play the Montana Kid, a notorious gunslinger trapped in a town with no working weapons and populated by sundry eccentrics.

Gunless also features Sienna Guillory ( Inkheart), Dustin Milligan ( 90210) and Callum Keith Rennie ( Battlestar Gallactica). Director of photography is Greg Middleton, who captured the battlefields of the First World War for Passchendaele. The film is due to be released in spring, 2010.
