Hard Core Logo 2, the sequel to Bruce McDonald's beloved punk rock mockumentary, will have its world premiere at the Whistler Film Festival.

In the sequel, Bruce the filmmaker (McDonald) receives a call asking if he wants to interview Canadian punk band Die Mannequin lead singer Care Failure, who claims to have channeled the spirit of Joe Dick, the departed lead singer of Hard Core Logo.

Based on the book by Michael Turner, Hard Core Logo was released in 1996 to rave reviews. The sequel stars McDonald, Julian Richings as Bucky Haight and Care Failure as herself.

Hard Core Logo 2 will have its world premiere Dec. 4. The Whistler Film Festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, runs Dec. 1-5.
