Scarlett Johansson and Director Taika Waititi at the world premier of 'Jojo Rabbit' at TIFF

Scarlett Johansson, Alfie Allen and Director Taika Waititi walked the red carpet Sunday night for the world premiere of “Jojo Rabbit” at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film, set during the Second World War, follows a lonely German boy who tries to navigate his mother's reasons for hiding a young Jewish girl and his blind nationalism. Waititi, who also wrote and stars in the movie, says the film’s anti-hate message is important to repeat because racism and fascism are becoming more prevalent everyday.
