Lohan drops silent F-bomb on court Add to ...

Beverley Hills judge Marsha Revel sent a strong message to troubled actress Lindsay Lohan on Tuesday, sentencing her to 90 days in jail. Not to be outdone, Lohan sent one back: "Fuck U."

Lohan spent much of her tearful court appearance staring on in disbelief, one hand covering her pursed lips. The obscene message was painstakingly written in black over colourful nail polish on her left middle finger, though it isn't clear who it was intended for.

Lohan's sentence comes as a result of Revel's decision that she had violated her parole terms by repeatedly skipping out on court-mandated alcohol-education classes. After her release, Lohan must also spend 90 days in a residential substance-abuse program. The actress previously spent 84 minutes in jail after pleading guilty cocaine and alcohol-related charges in 2007.

Given Revel's obvious frustration with Lohan's conduct, the 24-year-old star might have been better off heeding the finger next to the offending one, which bears a tattoo reading "Shhh..."
