Bruce Cockburn

And baby makes three.

Bruce Cockburn, 66, who made news last month with the birth of his second daughter 35 years after his first, has added two more prizes to his 2011 haul. At the Canadian Folk Music Awards gala in Toronto on Sunday, Cockburn was named top solo artist for an album ( Small Source of Comfort) judged the year's top contemporary work.

Other multiple trophy-takes included Genticorum, the colourful Québécois roots trio who won best traditional album and best ensemble honours for the disc Nagez Rameurs, and the Nova Scotian Dave Gunning, chosen best traditional singer and emerging artist.
