Lady Gaga, suffering from bronchitis, postpones Vancouver show

Lady Gaga has postponed shows planned for this week in Vancouver and Seattle, suffering from "severe bronchitis" according to concert promoter Live Nation.

The shows – Wednesday night at Key Arena in Seattle and Friday night at Rogers Arena in Vancouver – were cancelled Wednesday afternoon.

Fans are being told to hold onto the tickets, which will be valid for the rescheduled performances, to be announced at a later date.

"I'm devastated I'm unable to perform this week. ... I've come down with horrible Bronchitis," Lady Gaga tweeted Wednesday afternoon.

"My deepest apologies to Seattle and Vancouver, we'll reschedule those shows & be back to make it up to you," she wrote in a subsequent tweet, with the hashtag #sadgaga

Lady Gaga – born Stefani Germanotta – is touring to support her third album Artpop. The most recent show on her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour was Monday night in Edmonton. Her next scheduled performance is June 2 in San Diego.
