The sisters are doing it for themselves.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner, the pop-culture siblings and self-appointed style authorities, have been announced as the co-hosts of the 2014 MuchMusic Video Awards. The televised trophy giveaway and teeny-bop block party takes place in downtown Toronto on June 15.

"We love Canada and can't wait to visit Toronto for the first time," said 18-year-old Kendall Jenner, not revealing what parts (if any) of the country she had ever visited.

In the same press statement, Kylie, 16, forecast a thrilling occasion and also shared her sister's enthusiasm for Canadians. "It's going to be a very exciting night at the MMVAs," she said. "Kendall and I are both huge music fans, and we can't wait to meet our fans north of the border."

Known for their appearances on the reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Jenners are accomplished shoe wearers, as well as being famous as the younger sisters of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian, and the effervescent daughters of Kris and former Olympian Bruce Jenner.

The family is not known to value privacy or to possess simple tastes.

It was previously announced that the buzz-craving singer-songwriter Lorde and the overstated alt-rockers Imagine Dragons would be among the telecast's performers.
