COMEDY Up All Night NBC, CTV Two, 8 p.m. Already renewed for a full season, this sitcom just gets funnier with each passing week. The premise should certainly ring familiar to any parents watching, with TV veterans Christina Applegate and Will Arnett cast as the married couple Reagan and Chris, who are overwhelmed with the addition of new baby Amy. In tonight’s new episode, Reagan’s week off work completely disrupts Chris’s social interaction with the neighbours. In other news, Reagan’s boss Ava (Maya Rudolph) tries to ingratiate herself further with the handsome single dad, Kevin (Jason Lee), by buddying up to his daughter.Trae Patton

VARIETY Saturday Night Live MuchMoreMusic, 11:30 p.m. A tip to the hip: MuchMoreMusic is currently recycling episodes of the venerable NBC variety series from the early 2000s, which, if you believe some purists, is when the show was at its comedic peak. Tonight’s rebroadcast originally aired on Nov. 11, 2000, and features Calista Flockhart as guest host (Ally McBeal was still one of Fox’s highest-rated shows at the time). And the musical guest is none other than Latino pop star Ricky Martin, back when people still believed he was straight. Good times.

MOVIE Gone With the Wind AMC, 7 p.m. and midnight Winner of 10 Oscars, including Best Picture, this 1939 epic still holds up on every level. Based on the novel by Margaret Mitchell, the story is set in the Deep South, circa 1860, and focuses sharply on the fiery Scarlett O’Hara (Vivien Leigh), who is furious when she learns her beloved beau Ashley Wilkes (Leslie Howard) is going to wed the docile Melanie (Olivia de Havilland). Scarlett’s head is turned by the dashing Rhett Butler (Clark Gable), but she ends up marrying Melanie’s milquetoast brother Charles (Rand Brooks). Then comes the Civil War and the burning of Atlanta. The film runs nearly five hours with commercials, so plan your bathroom breaks accordingly.
