Cliff Lee has contributed to a wide range of news and culture coverage at The Globe, from city politics as Assistant Toronto Editor, to the best in Canadian literature as Books Editor. He is currently the Letters Editor and a contributor to The Globe's Arts department.
Cliff is a co-founder of Shared Bylines, a BIPOC-focused scholarship and mentorship program for early-career Canadian journalists.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because it's important, all of it. Whether Canadians are concerned with the state of the country, or looking for a good book or film recommendation, good journalism helps inform every part of our lives.
