Daniel Leblanc was a staff reporter for The Globe and Mail. He started off at the Ottawa Citizen on a one-year internship before joining the Ottawa bureau of The Globe and Mail in August, 1998. He is the winner of the Charles Lynch Award for outstanding coverage of national affairs from the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery (2012); Michener Award (2004); National Newspaper Award (2012) and four citations of merit. He left The Globe in July, 2020.
