She has also covered Canadian capital markets, financial services and other pockets of business for the Globe and Mail. Jacqueline studied magazine journalism and got her start working as a fact-checker, associate editor and staff writer at Canadian Business magazine. Her writing has appeared in various other publications both in print and online.

Why did you become a journalist?

Business stories are everywhere. From the skyscraper out the window to the tchotchkes on your desk, there’s always a supply chain, a cost or some economic forces to consider. Ultimately, these stories are about people. And people are endlessly fascinating.
