Marsha McLeod is a reporter with the Globe's Ottawa bureau. She's largely reported on inequality, health care, and criminal legal systems – writing features for a variety of outlets, from Xtra Magazine to The Atlantic, as well as smaller outlets like Investigative Post, a non-profit newsroom in Buffalo, and The Trace, a New York-based newsroom that covers guns and gun violence. Marsha was an investigative fellow at the Globe from 2019-2020, where she largely covered jail and prison conditions. She studied investigative reporting at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, graduating with honors in May 2018.
