Marsha McLeod is an investigative reporter based in Toronto. Before joining the Globe, she reported on the privatization of health care in America's county jails for The Atlantic. Previously, she reported on criminal justice fines and fees for Investigative Post, a non-profit newsroom in Buffalo and on law enforcement for The Trace, a non-profit newsroom in New York City focused on guns and gun violence. She studied investigative reporting at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, graduating with honors in May 2018.
