Hartley T. Richardson, President & Chief Executive Officer of James Richardson & Sons, Limited, is pleased to announce the election of Aidan W. Richardson to the Board of Directors of Tundra Oil & Gas Limited.
Mr. Richardson is Vice President of Engineering at Katal Energy Inc., a privately-held alternative fuel company with research and development activities around the globe. Previously, he was a Lead Production Engineer at Birchcliff Energy, a Calgary based oil and gas company. Mr. Richardson holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (BASc) degree in Geological Engineering from Queen’s University, is a registered Professional Engineer and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). He currently serves on the boards of Katal Energy Inc. and the Trans Canada Trail Foundation.
Tundra Oil & Gas is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Winnipeg-based James Richardson & Sons, Limited. The largest oil producer in Manitoba, Tundra commenced operations in January 1980 and currently produces in excess of 30,000 barrels of light crude oil per day. Tundra’s core properties are located within the Williston Basin in southwest Manitoba and southeast Saskatchewan.
