Andrew Tong Named Concert’s Chief Investment Officer
We’re proud to announce that Andrew Tong has been promoted to the newly created role of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Concert Real Estate Corporation and Concert Properties Ltd.
In addition to his responsibilities as Managing Director of the CREC Commercial Fund LP, Andrew will provide strategic leadership and oversight for a broad range of key operational activities, including acquisitions, asset and portfolio management, term financing, property management, and commercial and residential leasing for all of Concert’s income producing properties across Canada.
Over the past 27 years Andrew has held increasingly senior roles at Concert in Acquisitions, Development and Asset Management. In 2016, Andrew played a key role in creating CREC Commercial Fund LP (“Fund”), and has led a talented team in the Fund’s portfolio growth to now 72 properties, over 11 million square feet and more than $2.2 billion in asset value.
The establishment of the CIO role at Concert is a milestone for both Andrew and the company, reflecting the continuing growth and comprehensive approach to investment management at Concert.
