Dana Rogers, Vice President of Finance, B2Gold
B2Gold’s President & CEO, Mr. Clive Johnson, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Dana Rogers as Vice President of Finance, effective October 1, 2018.
Ms. Rogers joined B2Gold in January 2014 as Corporate Controller and was promoted to Director of Finance in 2017. Ms. Rogers started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and has been the controller for several other public mining companies. Over her 15-year career she has worked in audit, finance and treasury for companies with operations in Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, the US and the UK, in addition to the countries where B2Gold currently has operations.
Ms. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours degree from the University of British Columbia. She is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.
Ms. Rogers will be responsible for the day-to-day management of B2Gold’s accounting group and coordination of the Company’s quarterly and annual financial reporting. In addition, she will assist the Company’s Chief Financial Officer on Special Projects, including the ongoing implementation of accounting IT strategy across the consolidated B2Gold group.
