Frantz Saintellemy, Chancellor and chair of the board, Université de MontréalSUPPLIED

On October 1, Frantz Saintellemy became the 14th chancellor and chair of the board of Université de Montréal.

An entrepreneur, technologist, lecturer and philanthropist, Mr. Saintellemy is an internationally recognized expert in cutting-edge technologies and the source of many patents, innovations and start-ups.

He is president and COO of LeddarTech, a leader in environmental sensing for autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems. He is also co-founder and chair of the board of Groupe 3737, one of Quebec’s largest private business incubators.

Mr. Saintellemy holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic and computer engineering from Northeastern University; a bachelor’s degree in management, business and marketing from HEC Montréal; and an EMBA from McGill University and HEC Montréal; and has completed training in engineering, strategy and complex innovations at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-Sloan).

Frantz Saintellemy’s inclusive vision and strong belief in the power of education and entrepreneurship will inspire the entire community of Université de Montréal, one of Canada’s leading research universities.
