Hartley T. Richardson, President of the Richardson Foundation Inc., is pleased to announce the election of G. David Richardson to the Board of Directors of the Richardson Foundation.
Mr. Richardson is President and CEO of Octaform Systems Inc., which designs and markets a patented stay-in-place concrete forming system. As a reflection of his passion for the environment, Mr. Richardson is involved in a number of projects related to globally reducing, recycling and minimizing the use of plastic. He is currently a Director of GreenPower Motor Inc. and formerly served on the boards of Richardson International Limited and Ducks Unlimited Canada, the latter of which he was appointed Director Emeritus. Mr. Richardson is actively involved in numerous charities and philanthropic activities including as the Co-Founder and Chair of the Stigma-Free Society, a charitable organization working to fight stigmas in every sector of society.
The Richardson Foundation helps registered Canadian charitable organizations achieve their goals by providing meaningful funding that will enrich the lives of the people in the communities served by James Richardson & Sons, Limited and its Affiliated Companies. The Richardson Foundation has surpassed $100 million in donations since its inception in 1957, and continues its focus on the Visual and Performing Arts, Youth Initiatives, Education and Environmental Issues and providing special support to United Way.
