Harry “Red” Conger has been appointed as Teck’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Conger most recently held the role of President and COO – Americas with Freeport-McMoRan. He brings a strong background in operating excellence, financial performance and delivering large-scale projects throughout the Americas, including Morenci in the U.S. and Cerro Verde in Peru. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Mining Engineering, from the Colorado School of Mines.
