Jay Forbes, Chief Executive Officer, Element Fleet
The Board of Directors of Element Fleet Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Forbes as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Forbes is a proven business leader who brings strategic insight and a fresh perspective to create immediate and lasting value for investors, customers and employees. With a deep passion for serving customers, Mr. Forbes possesses operational expertise, strong financial acumen, and a firm grasp of technology that will benefit Element Fleet and its many stakeholders.
Most recently, Mr. Forbes was President and CEO of Manitoba Telecom Services, and, prior to that, President and CEO of Teranet Inc., President at Ingram Micro Inc., and President and CEO/CFO at Aliant Inc. He has extensive experience serving on public company and not-for-profit boards, and joined Element Fleet’s Board of Directors on May 14, 2018.
Mr. Forbes holds a Commerce Degree from Dalhousie University, is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia (FCPA, FCA). He is a Top 40 Under 40 Award Recipient, and a Top 50 CEO Award Recipient.
