John Boynton, President and CEO, Arterra Wines CanadaSupplied

The Board of Arterra Wines Canada (Arterra) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Boynton as its new President and CEO.

John joins Arterra from NordStar (parent company of Torstar) where he held the role of Vice Chair and President of Digital. He was previously the President and CEO of Torstar and Publisher of The Toronto Star where he created and led a growth-oriented, digital transformation of that business.

John is an experienced CEO with a proven track record of helping companies transform and grow – especially in the digital space. Throughout his 35-year career, John has worked in many different industries and he has developed very deep experience in building multi-channel consumer relationships through mobile, digital, data and ecommerce.
