Al Monaco, President & CEO, Enbridge Inc., is pleased to announce the following appointment.
John Whelen was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer on June 1, 2019, where he will focus on Enbridge’s broader business strategy. Prior to this role, Mr. Whelen served on Enbridge’s Executive Leadership Team as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Whelen has held various roles over 26 years at Enbridge and predecessor companies, including executive positions in treasury, risk management, corporate planning and development, and financial reporting, budgeting and planning. He also served as President of Enbridge Income Fund.
