The Institute of Corporate Directors welcomes a new member to the Board of Directors.

Maryse Bertrand is the Chair of the Board of Governors of McGill University and a corporate director. She sits on the boards of National Bank, Metro, Gildan Activewear and PSP Investments. She has been an advisor in Governance since 2016 following a 35-year career as a business lawyer and as an executive at CBC/Radio-Canada. Until 2009, Bertrand was a partner of Davies Ward Phillips and Vineberg LLP where she specialized in M&A and corporate finance and served on the firm’s National Management Committee. Bertrand is also past chair of the Board of the Institute of Corporate Directors (Quebec Chapter).

Established in 1981, the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) is a not-for-profit, member-based organization representing Canadian directors and boards across the for-profit, not-for-profit and Crown sectors.
