David Boone, Chief Executive Officer of Staples Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Huckle as President and Chief Operating Officer. In her new role, Rachel will lead our retail, services, merchandising, marketing and online businesses towards our goal of delivering a world class and seamless omni-channel experience.

Since 2019, Rachel has served as Chief Retail Officer, providing inspired leadership to thousands of Staples Associates across Canada, as we transformed from an office supplies store to the Working and Learning Company. Rachel has spearheaded growth across Staple’s critical services businesses – print, technology, and shipping - helping small businesses across Canada grow and succeed.

Rachel is an accomplished retail executive with over 20 years of diverse leadership experience in operations, merchandising, digital health, office and wellness products and strategic management  with multiple large scale retail businesses. Rachel’s passion is placing the employee and the customer at the center of every business decision which continues to be the key to her success.
