Mr. Kiefer assumes full responsibility for Canadian Utilities’ strategic direction, which is focused on building a globally diversified portfolio of investments in premier energy infrastructure. The company’s operations include electricity generation, transmission and distribution; natural gas transmission, distribution and infrastructure development; energy storage and industrial water solutions; and electricity and natural gas retail sales.

Mr. Kiefer joined ATCO in 1983 with Canadian Western Natural Gas, and has since held a variety of senior positions in many of ATCO’s diversified companies, most recently as President & Chief Strategy Officer for ATCO Ltd. and Canadian Utilities Limited. He brings an unparalleled understanding of Canadian Utilities’ operations and capabilities, as well as a firm commitment to the communities and customers the company has the privilege to serve.
