Toronto, Canada, January 30, 2023- CPS Capital (“CPS”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Stephen Lister as Non-Executive Chairman.

Stephen Lister is a Canadian businessman, investor and philanthropist. Mr. Lister is currently the Chairman of Private Debt Partners, a senior debt financing provider to Canadian mid-market companies from Funds managed on behalf of institutional and individual investors. Mr. Lister brings over 35 years of private equity experience, providing equity financing and consulting assistance to the management teams of past portfolio companies.

Mr. Lister is also co-Founder and a former long-time co-Managing Partner of Imperial Capital, one of Canada’s most successful private equity buy-out firms. Mr. Lister led the acquisition and stewardship of Imperial’s portfolio companies in a variety of industries in both Canada and the United States. He assisted the management teams with the strategic direction, acquisitions and financings of these businesses.
