The CADTH Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Suzanne McGurn to President and Chief Executive Officer of CADTH, effective July 6, 2020.
Ms. McGurn has led a distinguished career spanning clinical practice, patient support, and senior roles in government. Within the Ontario Ministry of Health, she served as the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Drugs and Devices Division and the Executive Officer of the Ontario Public Drug Programs. She also led the implementation of the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance and served as its first chair.
In her new role Ms. McGurn looks forward to leading the continued evolution of CADTH, deepening its engagement with Canadian health systems, and fostering patient involvement in all aspects of its work.
CADTH is an independent, not-for-profit organization. It provides Canada’s health care decision-makers with objective evidence to help inform their decisions about the appropriate use of drugs and medical devices.
