Clark Linton has been an advisor at Raymond James Ltd. since 2005. He was drawn by the independent culture of the firm. Clark founded his team, Plena Wealth Advisors, with the goal of providing a broader wealth management offering to clients. He felt that clients needed more than just an investment advisor, but a team that would focus on the management of its clients’ broader financial needs. Clark is cross-border licensed, so is able to advise clients in both Canada and the United States.

Before joining Raymond James Ltd., Clark served as an advisor at a boutique investment management firm, and as a foreign exchange dealer and strategist. He has more than 28 years of industry experience, and applies that knowledge to help clients navigate a variety of market environments.

Clark digs deeper in conversations with clients, to understand their values and the goals they look to achieve in life. He takes a holistic approach, focusing on the bigger picture of clients’ finances, and ensuring that each one has a thoughtful wealth plan that informs a custom investment strategy.

Plena Wealth Advisors provides clients with financial planning, estate and tax planning, discretionary portfolio management and cross-border wealth planning. Clark has grown his team over the years, adding experienced professionals to bring more value to the services he provides to his clients.

Clark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (concentration in Finance, with a minor in Economics) from Simon Fraser University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a key certification for investment professionals who specialize in research and portfolio management.

Community involvement is a priority for Clark. He is board director for Enhance West Van, a registered charitable society supporting the West Vancouver Community Centre. He is also a former advisory board member of the Raymond James Canada Foundation.

Clark grew up in the Vancouver area and lives with his family in West Vancouver. He has two children, Connor and Sophie. In his free time, Clark enjoys reading, cooking for guests, keeping active with various sports and travelling the world with family and friends.
