Reg Jackson is a portfolio manager, co-founder and co-CEO of the JMRD Watson Wealth Management team at National Bank Financial. His 18-person team operates in four offices along Ontario’s Highway 401 corridor. His areas of expertise include portfolio management, and financial and estate planning for high-net-worth families.

Reg draws on 25 years of experience in the industry. He and his co-founder, Paul Manders, were early adopters of the “team of experts” approach to running a wealth management practice. With that assistance, Reg is able to develop comprehensive wealth management solutions for families, professionals and business owners, as well as services that are commonly offered by family offices.

Providing financial peace of mind goes beyond any one client or person. The team strives to build long-lasting relationships with entire families using a multi-generational approach. Reg and the JMRD Watson Team received National Bank Financial’s prestigious Wealth Management Excellence Award in 2019, and the Private Portfolio of the Year Award in 2020.

Reg attended the University of Western Ontario, earning an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business. His industry designations include: Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI), Financial Management Advisor (FMA), Personal Financial Planner (PFP) and Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM). The prestigious CIWM is the only wealth management designation built specifically to manage the complex financial needs of affluent clients. Reg also has his Level Two Life Insurance license.

Always giving back to the community and never forgetting his roots, Reg recently started the Reg Jackson HBA Entrepreneurship Award. It’s awarded annually to a full-time student entering the HBA program at the Ivey School of Business. The recipient must exhibit a high level of academic achievement, community leadership, and interest in entrepreneurship and/or family business, along with a financial need. Where possible, preference will be given to a student from the St. Marys or Stratford communities, or from Huron or Perth counties.

As a passionate volunteer, Reg has also been the co-chair of the Country Classic Auction for the past five years. This is the largest annual fundraiser in southwestern Ontario, raising much needed funds for patients and families at London Health Sciences Centre.

When not in the office, Reg can be found on the golf course, enjoying a good book, curating music playlists or traveling with his family or golf pals.
