Newmont Goldcorp president Tom Palmer taking over as CEO in October

Newmont Goldcorp Corp. said on Tuesday its president, Tom Palmer, will take on the additional role of chief executive officer from Oct. 1.

Mr. Palmer succeeds Gary Goldberg, who will serve as executive adviser from October through March next year.
