What business is this of ours as far as the Saudis are concerned? Contrary to The Globe’s holier than thou editorial comment: “The world community has been shocked by such butchery – not least because it was committed with the goal of silencing a peaceful critic of an autocratic regime,” I don’t hear a word from Italy, China, Mexico, India, Korea (both North and South), Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Chile etc. Are they not part of the world community? And the U.S. and Britain are happily supplying support to the Saudis in this despicable killing. - londoner15

If our leaders haven't the strength of character to suspend our contract with the Saudis and also support those whose jobs the action will put at risk, then why are they our leaders? If Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland will not walk the talk, then let us find someone who will, when we go to the polls in 2019. - IanWigle1

Time for all NATO countries to kick Saudi ambassadors out. - The Last Honest Conservative

Time to cancel all contracts with Saudi Arabia, regardless of economic consequences. - NJT
