Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister pitches new carbon tax plan

One day after issuing a surprise signal of compromise on a carbon tax, Manitoba Premier Brian Manitoba pitched the plan to agriculture producers who have faced big bills from the levy. Pallister told an agricultural exposition Tuesday a provincial carbon tax would be better than the current federal one, partly because it would not apply to grain-drying costs.
