Pope Francis visits Alberta pilgrimage site

Pope Francis blessed the waters at Lac Ste. Anne, a site sacred to both Indigenous Peoples and Catholics, where thousands gather each year for a pilgrimage. He later delivered a homily at a local shrine where he spoke of the importance of grandmothers and elders in the community.
