Today, we are launching a completely new website for The Globe and Mail.

It's not a redesign in the traditional sense -- most of what you see as a reader will be unchanged -- but everything under the hood has been rebuilt, from how we publish content on multiple platforms to all the code that underlies our site.

This new platform will provide the grounding for our bold digital strategy that's unfolding over the next year. It means that we'll be able to be more agile in our approach to both web development and the way we deliver our journalism to our readers across all platforms.

As always with any product launch, there may be a few bumps along the way. Please let us know if you are having any issues with our site or apps, by sending an e-mail to websupport@globeandmail.com, or by leaving a comment on this blog post.

Note: Some readers have reported problems with their Globe News apps. If you are having an issue, please reset your customized homescreen to its default, or reinstall the app from the app store.
