Stanley Inspection Camera

Stanley just released a tool that you don't know you need – until you need it. For example, if you need to see where a prized earring dropped between the seat and the console, or if you need to see what's suddenly rattling under the hood. The Stanley Inspection Camera is a great little tool for the job.

The eight-millimetre camera and metre-long snaking wand weave through tight spaces and water with ease. Simply push the button on the handle to flip the image to the best viewing position on the high-resolution screen. Two other buttons control the light and contrast, making it easy to see lost items in dark crevasses.

The lightweight camera is only 407 grams, including the four AAA batteries that operate it for up to six hours.

It comes with hooks that attach to the camera so you can manoeuvre to pull out the lost earring. The stem, featuring a magnetic end, might be your new best friend. Video output jacks allow users to connect the camera to a video input device to record the event – because YouTube simply isn't the same without The Great Earring Rescue.
