The so-called FANG stocks – those of Facebook Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Netflix Inc. and Google – were standout performers last year, despite some volatile stretches on the U.S. markets. But 2016 is a different story. All four companies are in the red this year, with Netflix and Amazon both down more than 27 per cent as of Monday's close.
It's worth noting that Facebook, despite being down around 5 per cent, is faring better than the S&P 500.
