Today, I'd like to show you two powerful features of the new Watchlist tool on Globe Investor.
By now you've probably created some Watchlists and added some of your investments. Your screen might look like this.
There's lot of data packed into the main view, but what if you want more?
Look for the binoculars.
You can use this viewfinder to display an array of financial ratios, dividends, earnings, as well all of the news and press releases for stocks in your Watchlist.
All of this data is refreshed automatically every 30 seconds, so you will always have the most current information available.
One of the most requested features for Stocklist has been the ability to customize your display.
With Watchlist, this is quick and easy.
Select Build Your Own from the viewfinder.
Hit the Customize button.
Let's say I'm really interested in return on equity.
Scroll to the right and find it. You can see there is lots of data here.
There it is. Now you reorder the columns by dragging and dropping the sideways arrow icon exactly where you want it.
I'll put it here.
Click the 'Show' checkbox.
Click the Save Changes button.
This customized view will be available for all of your Watchlists. If you don't like what you've done there is a Reset button to restore the default view, so feel free to play around with the tool.
