We've had a lot of feedback on the new site. We asked for it and we got it. First, there has been a lot of positive feedback on the new look, the new writers, and the stocklist and fundlist being merged into one tool. This is still a beta site, so even though we're not finished yet, people can see the direction we're going and like it.
There have also been a lot of great suggestions. For instance, yes we have years more financial data on companies that we don't show on the original site and yes, we want to add many more years of financial history the new site. I can't promise when this will happen, not yet anyway, but we want to make it happen. Even more so now that we know how many readers are clamouring for it. We also now know that people want more functionality in their Watchlists, more columns of data. This was already in the plans, but the feedback helps make sure we don't miss anything and have our priorities right as we add features. This is the kind of relationship with our readers that we crave.
There have also been bugs. We're working very hard to fix them and we appreciate all your help finding them and helping us fix them. The bugs around Watchlist are a high priority to fix, as well as problems people are having in getting back to the original site from the orange bar at the top of the page. We're also working hard to make the site faster. This is a beta site and bugs are a part of building a site within public eyes. You're helping us fix bugs and you're providing the feedback we need to build out the best site possible. Please keep it up.
