Who can resist a few laughs when the global economy is coming apart at the seams? One of the best, and most clever, takes on the current crisis takes a March Madness chart and puts financial institutions in the place of college basketball teams. Voila: September Madness.

Bank of America is moving towards the final four position as other banks fail. So far, it has survived two rounds, edging past both Countrywide Financial and Merrill Lynch. Its next competitor is a tough one, though: either Berkshire Hathaway, Goldman Sachs or Citigroup.
