In what promises to be an amusing little project, the bloggers at Maoxian.com have launched a new series in which they'll remind investors of some of their stupidest collective mistakes.

The idea is to feature charts of some of the biggest fads to meet the street - and it started the series with foam-shoe maker Crocs , which burst out of the gate after its initial public offering - climbing to almost $70 (U.S.) before settling down around $2.50 Friday.

"CROX went public back in February 2006, made a fairly impressive run and then collapsed, eventually falling under $1 a share," the site states. "Can you spot the weeks where they reported earnings?"

The site is looking for suggestions for other charts to feature - so far readers have suggested Las Vegas Sands Corp. , Force Protection Inc. and Nortel Networks Corp. .
