For this week's live discussion at Inside the Market, we are joined by Christopher Pasut, portfolio manager with OtterWood Capital Management. We'll be asking for his outlook on markets, and find out some of his top picks among North American large cap stocks right now.
Christopher has over eight years of experience in a variety of roles including analyzing and trading of equities, fixed income, commodities and derivatives. OtterWood was founded in early 2012 by its chief investment strategist and frequent BNN-TV guest Christine Hughes. Its NEI Northwest Macro Canadian Equity fund has returned 22 per cent in the 12 months ended Aug. 31, versus the S&P/TSX composite index's return of 27 per cent.
Prior to joining OtterWood, Christopher worked at Natcan Investment Management as a senior trader and worked at Middlefield Capital as an analyst and trader. He is a registered portfolio manager and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
