Insider trading - the legal buying and selling of stock by officers and directors who work within those same businesses - has a long history of correctly anticipating the market's direction.

Whether used as an indicator for the broad market, sectors within it, or individual stocks, they have been correct more often than wrong.

So what are they signalling to buy and sell right now?

We'll ask Ted Dixon, chief executive officer and co-founder of INK Research, for his insight during our weekly one-hour web chat Tuesday at 1 p.m. (ET). INK Research is a Canadian service that provides investor knowledge into what public company executives and significant shareholders are doing with their ownership interests.
