Q&A: Top stock picks from value investor Robert Gill

Last week, we featured growth investor Frank Mersch at our weekly investing chat at Inside the Market. On Tuesday, we took a look at best value picks for your portfolio with the help of Robert Gill, vice-president and portfolio manager of Canadian equities for Aston Institutional Partners.

Robert joined Aston Hill in 2010 after starting his career in 1997 and holding analyst and portfolio management roles at firms including BMO Nesbitt Burns, Deutsche Bank, and Foyston, Gordon & Payne Investment Counsel. In his investment approach, Robert looks for high-quality companies that trade at attractive valuation multiples. Aston Hill manages $7.8-billion (Canadian).
