A roundup of what The Globe and Mail's market strategist Scott Barlow is reading this morning on the World Wide Web.

We are rapidly reaching the point where “freefall” is an accurate description of the Chinese economy. Reuters reports that Chinese fixed asset investment – the primary cause of the global commodity bubble since 2003 – is growing at the slowest pace since 2001.
