New Flyer Industries Inc. , a manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses in Canada and the United States, announced order activity for the first fiscal quarter of 2012 ended April 1, 2012. It said first-quarter order activity was for 176 buses or 176 equivalent production units, with a total value of $77.8-million.



Norbord Inc. reported EBITDA of $21-million in the first quarter of 2012 compared to $9-million in the prior quarter and $14-million in the same quarter last year. It said the improvement reflects a 7 per cent quarter-over-quarter increase in North American benchmark OSB prices as well as continuing strong results from the company's European operations.

GobiMin Inc. reported its financial and operating results of 2011 and announce the declaration of an annual dividend of $0.01 per share. It reported a profit of $2.5-million or basic earnings per share of positive 5 cents compared to a loss of $3.6-million or basic earnings a share of negative 5 cents a year earlier.

PC Gold Inc. announced further results from the 2012 winter drill program. The winter drill program has intersected veining in 15 of 17 holes drilled to date, 8 of which encountered visible gold, 1 of which (PC-12-253) returned abundant fine-grained visible gold with 137.19 g/t goldover 1.00 metre.
