Rio Alto Mining Limited (RIO-T) that lost nearly 3 per cent yesterday announced today that its La Arena Gold Mine poured 58,081 ounces of gold during the three months ended June 30, 2012. Sales in the second quarter of 43,234 ounces of gold at an average realized price per ounce of $1,586 generated cash sales proceeds of $68.6-million.

Sandvine Corporation (SVC-T) that was down by a cent yesterday announced today a net loss of $4.2-million for the second quarter of 2012 on revenues of $18.6-million. This compares $1.7-million net income in the same period of last year. The company also received over $2-million in Network Policy Control orders from one of the top 10 telecom providers in the United States.

The company also advised that Dr. Dianmin Chen will resign as CEO effective July 17, 2012 due to personal reason and Chairman Wenfeng Liu will assume the role of Interim Executive Officer.
