Alderon Iron Ore Corp. (ADV-T), which fell nearly 4 per cent yesterday, announced the results of the f inal mineral resource estimate on its Kamistiatusset Iron Ore Project in western Labrador. The estimate includes a measured and indicated mineral resource of 1.1 billion tonnes at 29.8 per cent iron and an inferred mineral resource of 277.4 million tonnes at 29.5 per cent iron, based on a cut-off grade of 20 per cent iron.

Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (XSR-T), which rose nearly 2 per cent yesterday, announced that revenue increased 8.1 per cent to $64.6-million in the third quarter of 2012 from $59.7-million in the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA also increased by 69.7 per cent to $9.6-million from $5.6-million last year.

Torex Gold Resources Inc. (TXG-T) said its subsidiary in Mexico, Minera Media Luna S.A. de C.V., has signed a five-year exploration access agreement with the Puente Sur Balsas Ejido, for all of the Ejido common use lands. This agreement includes access to the majority of the area of the new discovery at Media Luna, which was announced by the company last month.

South American Silver Corp. (SAC-T) – which lost nearly a third of its value and hit year lows Tuesday – expressed “extreme disappointment” in statements made by the Bolivian government that it intends to nationalize the company’s development stage Malku Khota silver-indium-gallium project due to violent protests over the company’s development of the Malku Khota project.

DragonWave Inc. (DWI-T) will report its first-quarter fiscal year 2013 results after the close of markets today. The company will discuss the results on a conference call and webcast on July 12, 2012 beginning at 8.30 a.m. ET.

Canadian Helicopters Group Inc. (CHL.A-T) has entered into an agreement with Rio Tinto for a renewed contract for an extended period with new helicopters.

Tembec Inc. (TMB-T) announced that, due to market related conditions, it will indefinitely idle its high-yield pulp mill located in Chetwynd, British Columbia, as of September 16, 2012.

Cangene Corporation (CNJ-T), which fell more than 4 per cent yesterday, announced that following a strategic review, it has cancelled its product development program for Immune Globulin Intravenous (IGIV), an anti-infective used for a variety of indications.

In a letter delivered on July 9, 2012, Goodwood Inc. announced that it advised the executive chairman of Longford Energy Inc. (LFD.H-X), Stan Bharti, that Goodwood intends to propose a new slate of directors for election at the next annual meeting of the shareholders of Longford.

Abcourt Mines Inc. (ABI-X) reported on what it referred to as the “progress” made at the Elder mine.
