Canadian issues that are moving on early news

International Northair Mines Ltd., which rose 2 per cent yesterday, announced today assay results from three core holes completed in the La Borracha Zone at its La Cigarra silver project. The company said all three recent core holes encountered longer intervals of higher grade silver mineralization than previously identified within the zone.

Legumex Walker Inc. said its subsidiary, Pacific Coast Canola, has expanded its previously existing agreement with CHS Inc. for the procurement of canola oilseed and off-take of canola meal to include the sales of canola oil products produced at the PCC canola processing facility in Warden, Washington. Legumex Walker closed at $7.55 yesterday.

Rockridge Capital Corp. announced results from the Fininko Gold Zone located in the eastern portion of the 250 square kilometre Fatou Gold Project. The company said hole DDF-091 intersected 1.73 g/t gold over 54.0 meters while RCF-173 intersected 3.25 g/t gold over 10.0 metres.

Petroamerica Oil Corp., which is trading near year highs, reported second-quarter $4.7-million in oil revenue, net of royalties, from the sale of 46,774 barrels of oil. The realized sales price was $107.02 (U.S.) per barrel generating an operating netback of approximately $66 (U.S.) per barrel. The company's net loss was $418,000 ($0 per share diluted) and capital expenditures were $3.9-million, all invested in Colombia. It said these capital expenditures were funded from available cash on hand.

Elemental Minerals Ltd. announced its updated Mineral Resource estimate for the Kola deposit on the Sintoukola property located in the Republic of Congo. Its measured and indicated Sylvinite resource increased 38 per cent.

5N Plus Inc., which is trading near a year low $1.64, announced the following appointments to its management team: Jean Mayer as director, legal affairs and corporate secretary; Sean Fuller as vice-president, strategic supply; Zhang Wen as vice-president, commercial activities China. It also announced that Laurent Raskin and Frank Fache have ceased to act as managers of the company but will remain on the board.

Bioniche Life Sciences Inc. announced that it has launched a new product in the U.S., Butequine Paste (phenylbutazone paste), for the relief of inflammatory conditions associated with the musculoskeletal system in horses. Bioniche has also acquired exclusive Canadian distribution rights to an additional six products.

Flinders Resources Limited provided an update on the wide range of activities that are underway at the Kringel Graphite Mine in Sweden to advance the project towards a restart of production.

Vuzix Corporation said net income for the second quarter of 2012 was $3.76-million or $0.0142 per share versus a net loss of $927,539, or $(0.0035) per share in the same period in 2011. The net income includes the gain on sale of assets to TDG.
