Canadian issues that are moving on early news

01 Communique Laboratory Inc. reported a third-quarter adjusted loss of $271,456 on revenues of $582,440. Cash and cash equivalents were $2.2-million. In the same period last year, adjust loss was $654,033 on revenues of $41,464. No analyst estimates were available for comparison.

Centric Health Corporation, which lost 3 per cent yesterday, has agreed to acquire certain assets of Shouldice Hospital Limited. The total purchase consideration for Shouldice, assuming no debt, is $14.25-million in cash or, at the option of Centric Health, $13.5-million in cash and $750,000 in Centric Health shares at a price equal to the five-day volume weighted average share price immediately prior to closing.

Nevada Copper Corp. has completed an updated National Instrument 43-101 mineral resource estimate for its 100 per cent owned Pumpkin Hollow Property in Nevada. The company said the report showed 1.1 billion-pound increase of total measured and indicated copper resource to 6.8 billion pounds for the combined Western and Eastern Deposits from 5.7 billion pounds.

Endeavour Mining Corporation announced drill results from the ongoing near-mine exploration program on its Agbaou gold deposit in Cote d'Ivoire. Exploration success is indicating further upside beyond the current mineral resources and reserves. Agbaou mine construction remains on track to begin production in the first quarter of 2014.

Enghouse Systems Limited said third quarter revenue was $35.4-million, compared to $31.8-million in the corresponding quarter last year. Net income was $4.3-million or $0.16 per diluted share compared to the prior year's third quarter net income of $4.6-million or $0.18 per diluted share.

COM DEV International Ltd., which is trading shy of a year high $2.28, said net income attributable to shareholders was $4.0-million in the third quarter of 2012, compared to $3.7-million a year earlier. Third quarter revenues of $54.5-million increased by $3.7-million or 7 per cent compared to $50.9-million a year earlier.

Argex Titanium Inc. announced it has successfully completed the production scale up of high purity titanium dioxide at its pilot plant.

Flinders Resources Limited, which lost near 5 per cent Thursday, announced further assay results from the 41 drill hole program at the Kringel project in Sweden. Latest results include 16.3 metres at 12 per cent graphitic carbon from 71 metres in drill hole KRI12DD019 and 14 metres at 11.5 per cent Cg from 20 metres in drill hole KRI12DD032.

DiagnoCure Inc., which dropped 3 per cent and closer to year lows yesterday, announced a net loss from continuing operations of $606,049 or $0.01 per share for the third quarter ending July 31, compared to a net loss of $892,216 or $0.03 per share for the same quarter of 2011.

El Nino Ventures Inc. announced that Murray Brook Minerals Inc. has been given formal notice by both ELN and Votorantim Metals Canada Inc. that a 70 per cent earned interest in the Murray Brook polymetalic project, Bathurst, New Brunswick has been completed. ELN and VMC currently own 70 per cent of the project, of which 35 per cent is held by each of the two parties.
